It has been months now and this request is one of the most upvoted requests why has there not been ANY comment from discord? Did wump-wump or whatever you call it look at this request and wanted to get it done but got short-term memory loss and went back to the mystical forest of fairy wizard pirates?

Typing this actually made we want to vomit.

I think everything that an admin or mod can do should show up in the audit log. It would be nice if we could have an archive of the logs to go back further than the small amount it currently shows.

Judging from the previous and newest update, the developer only cares for visual decorative stuffs. This issue has been here for over a year. I had been thinking positively like "There are tons of issues to address by the developer" or "This kind of coding might take a lot of time to finish" . But, well, i'm a programmer myself, and in my opinion, it is not that hard to insert this kind of feature, so my conclusion is they are not addressing this issue because they don't deem it necessary to fix.

In a parable, It's a very common practice anywhere in the world that most people only care about "decorating the house, putting fancy curtains to the windows, coloring the roof, and that kind of stuff", but keep ignorant on a crystal clear unstable house foundation.

Another good idea to add to this, would be to be able to see a small log of what specific user said. As people could ban for a non ban-able offence; people asking for an unban who was banned without a reason because someone caught it on mobile, but can't give a reason or just wanted to get them banned. Even just during a ban a log would be kept of (x amount of time) or choose which parts of the persons log you'd want to "highlight" for a ban reason

They cannot manage their own highest role or any roles above them, so they don't have full control. If you really want to make it super specific, there are lots of bots that can help you with that 👍

There are no bots that can help me with that. I'd need order changes to be logged in audit log, so it could be tracked.

I mean bots are only able to be invited by accounts that are actual people and administrators. Bots cant be invited by bots.

For us its too late, now... Our mods and admins are missing too much (esp good logs) and we'll not switching to discord in next few years, again... :-(

    Hey!

Indeed. I have saw such problems in several servers, logging that would be a great idea.

I remember being able to see who moved who in the audit log a few months back but I don't see it anymore.

What do you mean by warn? Just recording it or a pop-up for the user?

I'm not sure what you mean here specifically. I think this has more to do with server management than the API.

I just want to be able to figure why why channels keep being rearranged within their categories. None of our mods are doing it on purpose, and it's driving some of the mods and users nuts.

Does it not show them receiving a role at all? If so that should be fixed. Otherwise, as you said a bot should be suitable. Most communities don’t rely on the audit log since it has a limited length of history. Unlike the audit log a bot can have theoretically infinite history and can be used in external programs.

5 months and there's still no update.
Is this kind of feature too difficult to make for Discord Team? LMAO

I think we should just start blowing up their twitter. Lets keep tweeting @discordappasking for it. They will listen eventually

We should blow up their Twitter to be honest cause then they'll notice and take action

You have bots which can do a lot of the features you're mentioning.

Then tell us the name of the bot.
As long as it's free, I'll be happy to use it.
