Theres an option to close the friend requests but there is not to limit for exact number. The number limit can help you control easier

  If you are getting lots of unwanted FRs just disable them. I don't see the reason to limit the number of pending FRs that wouldn't be fixed by just blocking FRs

  There's a way to do this, go to your user settings > privacy & safety > who can add you as a friend
