An option to autoplay animated emotes in chat, but have them static in the emote picker Følg VR 3. april 2019 11:29 Recently, Discord on Android had animated emotes added to the emote picker for non-Nitro users (along with emotes from other servers). For many users, this caused the emote picker to freeze and sometimes even crash Discord. As a fix, the "Play animated emoji" setting was changed to include emotes in the emote picker. However, animated emotes auto-playing in chat works fine, it was just an issue with the emote picker. I think there should be an option to let animated emotes auto play in chat but be static in the emote picker. 24
