Additional Server settings for @mentions. Nicknames vs. Usernames.

I host a server for my friends and I to stay in touch, plan group events, hang out and play games, etc. A minor problem we run in to consistently is that @mentions will work for either the user's nickname or username. We change our nicknames pretty consistently for jokes or memes, but generally keep our usernames the same.

The problem is when you're trying to @mention the username 'SuperGun' by typing 'gu' and get the nickname for another user 'Mr.Guy' instead because you're so used to pressing 2 letters and hitting enter to get someone's attention. Not a huge issue, considering you could just type 'gun' and get the right user, but it leads to some accidental @mentions since you have the muscle memory of typing two letters and hitting enter to get someone's attention.

A solution might be a server setting that lets you set whether @mentions use nicknames, usernames, or both, so that smaller servers of friends could consistently pinging each other without accidentally pinging someone else.
