Hi. I am using android. I don't see Connections in my User Settings?

@SpeaskForTrees & @Arneath sorry folks, you need the Desktop app to sync up your twitch account. @xkidzzx, are you still experiencing issues? You can drop us a ticket on the support page and we'll help you get set up.

Version 1.8.4 Discord on Android, also no 'Connections' in 'User Settings'.

It appears this blog was recently updated within the last 21 hours. It does say in the first paragraph that Affiliates are able to do this as well now. However, I'm a Twitch Affiliate and have synced my Twitch to my Discord multiple times. Yet every time I go to "Integrations" under my "Server Settings" it still always says "NO INTEGRATIONS Connect your partnered Twitch or YouTube Gaming account to sync your subscribers/sponsors to a role"

This line tells me that it's still set up for partners only, which is completely contradictory of the statement at the end of the first paragraph of this blog. "Oh, and even our Twitch Affiliate friends can do this too." If anyone could please help with getting this setup, I'd appreciate it.

No matter how many times I click "Connect your partnered Twitch account to sync subscribers to a role" and re-connect my already-connected partnered Twitch account, Twitch Integration does not work with my Server. Why is this? What am I doing wrong? Do I need to remove my account completely and re-connect? Will this remove me from Twitch-integrated servers that I am already connected to?

    @Cilantrelle

we had this working for quite some time (6 months?) with no issues - but we found recently it wasn't syncing users - so after fiddle farting around we decided to start it again from scratch and removed the twitch connection and re-added the integration, we found that we could add it fine but no role was added as per below

"Once you've done this, you'll find a new permissions role has been auto-created specifically for Twitch subs"

    no role has been created

is there an issue with the inter or twitch->discord ?

Does this only work for partnered streamers? The Twitch Integration tab doesn't appear in server settings, only Integration.

Edit: Nevermind, I'm dumb and didn't check to look this wasn't answered before. Answer is yes for other dumb folk like me. It only works for partnered streamers

Unfortunately, it's empty. It says "Connect ... ", I press link and got to user settings where I set up twitch and youtube integration. I can provide screenshots, teamviewer session or whatever you need (if you need it ;))

@khaletski that box is where you'll see channels you're subscribed to. If the streamers you're subbed to don't have a twitch-synced server, then that box'll be blank. Have them set up a Discord server!

@Kitty the only servers that'll show up in your user settings > connections tab are servers of streamers who you're subbed to. Unless you're a partnered streamer yourself, you won't see anything pop up in your server settings > integrations tab.

Integration for me is totally broken and frankly infuriating. no matter how hard i try i cant seem to get any answers at to why it tells me to connect my twitch then it says there are no servers... no shit there are no server because you wont read the fact i'm connected.

@SeraphTheGreat Hi! while I'm not Discord Staff, I can offer some tips to help with this.

Firstly, are you currently Subscribed to Tobias Fate on Twitch? Both Paid and free Twitch Prime Subscriptions qualify for Sub Only Discord access, so whichever of the two you choose, you would get access. :)

If you aren't currently Subscribed to Tobias Fate, go ahead and Subscribe to them on Twitch when you are ready to, the Sub should then Sync to Discord within an hour or two.

In Discord, go into User Settings > Connections > click the Twitch button and follow the instructions

If correctly linked, Discord should automatically download your Subscriber status from Twitch, and allow you to click "Join Server" from the Connections page.

In discord, go to User Settings > Connections > under your Twitch account "Sub Enabled Servers" > click Join Server on the appropriate Server

Also, did you wait for an hour after linking the accounts? Discord is set up to sync Twitch Subs into the owners Discord Server once per hour, to avoid overloading Twtich - provided the Sync works correctly, you would gain access within an hour. The Server Owner can also trigger a sync manually at any time (even when the Auto Sync isn't running or between cycles) so you could ask them to try Sync again.

Did you authorise Discord to access your Twitch account? It might be useful to delink and relink them - that can fix some of these problems :)

Are you trying to do this on Mobile? Currently it's only possible to link the accounts via the Desktop app, try using that to link them again.

And finally, did you link the correct accounts together? Sometimes people link a different one by mistake.

Please feel free to comment here again with any updates - I have email alerts turned on for this article, so I'll be alerted when a new comment is posted.

    Hope these help :)

We get the same empty Integrations screen in server settings that KierreKikkeli aka KK posted on Nov. 22nd. We are twitch partnered, have the Twitch connection enabled in user settings but the server settings integration page is blank.

Does the integration have to be done by the server owner? Because our twitch streamer is not the server owner. That's the only thing that comes to mind what we could have wrong.

I would lile to connect my twitch account ( i am a streamer) with my discord server account ( i am the owner). So fir the api did connect twitch to discord but nothing more : no sync, no additional buttons...only a trash icon at the end of the coonected account line.

@Waverunner Are you using the stable build or the PTB? Make sure you're on stable when you sync your account.

@Endie_Craftsman You won't be able to sync their twitch stream by yourself- you'll either need to make a new account and have the streamer sync their twitch account to that new account (that you control), or have the streamer make their own Discord account and sync the server with it.

Apparently no matter what i do or how many times i connect my twitch account to my discord profile i cannot link it into my server, i have been asked couple times do i have a discord server for my beginner streaming and did not so i ended  up doing one and apparently i need to invite ppl one by one  just bcs my twitch account wont show up in the discord's server settings integrations

@OyuncuDedeler The integrations tab is only for partnered streamers. To sync with streamers that you're subbed to, you'll want to go into user settings > connection.

Will you be implementing an update for discord twitch integration as affiliates now accepts subs, and this would be great feature to offer. I can't integrate my twitch account although my user settings states its connected to twitch.

@Mqtt Make sure you're using the normal build, not the PTB. If you're still having troubles, let us know.
