@PeachSlicesV - So i tested this out myself.  Its says #loading because the channel you chose has images/files that were directlly uploaded into discord instead of as a link.  The only way to fix it is to delete all those images.

As stated before, is there anyway to have a custom resize of Width and Height? This would be greatly appreciated!

@Dvize @PeachSlicesV So sorry about that! We just got the image loading bug fixed up, so you should be good to go.

@nopbot unfortunately no- it's just a standard pixel size at the moment.

@Cilantrelle OK I need help with something. I'm trying to set up my StreamKit to show when someone is talking in a specific chatroom. Here's the problem I'm having. For some reason, I can only get in to work in one chatroom. I'm trying to get it to work in a different chatroom. How do I get it to work in multiple different chatrooms? The preview won't load either so I don't think it's on OBS's end

@Chameo Five sorry about that- the way the voice widget works for stream, it'll only show the voice channel that you're currently connected to. No way to have it display other voice channels at the moment. =/

@Cilantrelle any option or code to make the voice widget show the nicknames and avatar horizontally? right now the only and default option is vertical.

    instead of:

    [Avatar1] Nickname 1

    [Avatar2] Nickname 2

    [Avatar3] Nickname 3

    This:

    [Avatar1] Nickname 1 - [Avatar2] Nickname 2 - [Avatar3] Nickname 3

@r34gan there was a bug on our end concerning the status widget that's getting fixed up. Hang in there!

@Viejo de Cobre no horizontal orientation available at the moment, though I'll be happy to pass your feedback along to the team.

Having same issue listed in this posting... Discord OBS Overlay will not install since the error pops up on the site showing "Cannot connect to Discord Client". Latest version of all apps, client runs and connects to my own server at the office... How do you resolve this issue guys??

    @duff563

I fixed it by setting my DNS to googles DNS.

The chat widget needs to have height x width scaling. And it needed it before it should have gotten text scaling.

The fact that it doesn't have scaling makes it completely useless, it really shouldn't even be there cause it's just taunting people that like useful features.

This widget is currently UNUSABLE. Automatically being pulled into Voice chats at random times (not just on load events) is in no shape or form acceptable. I've been added to voice mid-stream, when I'm just working by myself and unaware, while I'm making youtube videos... I don't have time for that and private conversations with my family don't need to be broadcasted.

Uninstalling until I see that it's fixed.

I'm trying to use the (text) chat widget, but even though it does make it through "Loading" and display "#ChannelName", none of the channel text ever appears in the widget, even if the client received it after StreamKit was enabled. I've tried this with the Windows client and Google Chrome on two separate Windows 10 systems and the Mac client with Safari on OSX 10.11.3. What could be causing this, and what can I do about it?

The fading out doesnt seem to work properly. It doesnt respond to me changing the fadeout time at all. Im unsure if this is a id10t error on my part or a error on your part. i set the timeout to 90 seconds and its no different from 1 second

I am also having the same issue as earlier users, regarding cannot connect.

As you can see, it literally spams this over an over, increasing the port by 1 every attempt. I have set my DNS to google's DNS (8.8.8.8,8.8.4.4) in both my network adapter and my router. Neither appear to make a difference.

I'm using firefox version 52.0 (32-bit). My firewall has been disabled during this test. All ports are forwarded to my PC. OBS Studio version 18.0.1

UPDATE: Just tried using all 3 builds of discord: Stable, PTB, and Canary. None were detected.

YET ANOTHER UPDATE: After trying to go directly to discordapp.io, Firefox tells me that it couldn't connect. Pinging it cannot find a site named discordapp.io. Apparently google DNS has never heard of it.

Automatically adding yourself to the call is an absolute trash idea. I have been added to a call I didn't want to be in more times than I am able to recall. I refuse to use this until it is fixed.

Text Wrap is a requirement so you can fit the chat into your overlay... dictating the size is just a bad implementation.

I haven't tried using the voice yet but does this pull in the AUDIO from my channel?  Assuming it does... how would one handle your own vocal which is likely already being sent to the stream as a separate source in OBS??

If anyone is still having issues connecting the web page to their discord client, you guys can contact me. send me an email at [email protected]. I found a solution by creating a secure connection between your PC and the discord servers. Let me know

I'm having the same issue as several other people who havent gotten a fix regarding:

CAN'T CONNECT TO THE DISCORD CLIENT
It looks like we’re having trouble connecting to your Discord client. Make sure you have Discord installed and running on your computer. If you don’t have the app installed you can download it atdiscordapp.com/download

    Any update on a fix?

I do not need to automatically join a voice channel with an open mic every single time I launch OBS. This is a really nice feature to show who's talking if I'm playing a co-op game like CS:GO but forcing it upon me makes it too much of a hassle to keep using.
