File-type upload permissions

Request additional options with the "Attach Files" permission on channels. Specifically request the ability to limit file uploads to media types only, including images or videos, but disallowing executable, compressed, or unknown file types.

  I definitely agree with this - locking down what kind of files a user can upload would give a massive boost to server safety. In fact, I'd probably also restrict certain file types outright if they are known to be routinely malicious or abused

  I'd love to block files by type, especially if there are user-end restrictions like compatibility issues.
