Comment changer la région de mon serveur vocal ? Apollo 6 novembre 2019 19:51 Mise à jour S’abonner Fact: The closer your physical location to a server, the lower latency you have. Lower latency is a good thing because it means higher quality connection, and the better you and your friends can understand each other and chat the night away until one of you falls asleep on your keyboard. See here? Big number. Big numbers are bad. We want it tiny. Tiny is best. Like 🤏 tiny. Luckily, servers give you the option to choose from a handful of separate locations based on where you are. It's super-easy to swap to different ones as needed, as often as you'd like! How do I change server regions? For a server, changing voice regions is pretty simple. If you’d like to change the server’s voice region, you’ll need to either be the Server Owner or have a role with Manage Server permissions enabled. Remember - If you don’t have the right permissions on your role, some of these options may not appear. Talk with your server owner or moderators if you think you should be able to do this. From Within Your Server: Click on the down arrow next to your server’s name to bring up the server’s drop-down menu. In the drop-down menu, select “Server Settings.” It’s got the gear next to it! Once You’re in Server Settings: Slide yourself on over to the “Server Region” option on the right side. A bunch of servers regions will pop up. Click the best option for your group! Select “Save Changes,” and you’re good to go! You’re free to experiment with all of the server regions freely. Select whichever one works best for you and your buds! From Within Your Direct Message Calls: This part’s much easier, since you already can see the call region in your voice call screen! The DM will automatically select the best region based on your group’s location, but you’re still welcome to change it to another preferred region if you’d like! Hover over and click the name of the region you’re currently on. It’s on the top-right! Select your preferred voice server region, then click it. There’s no Step 3. You’re already done! Pro Tip™: Generally, you should pick the server that’s a good middle-ground between you and your friends. For example, if you have some people on the west coast of the US, and some on the east coast, try using “US Central” for your voice region! Or, if you’re all in Hong Kong, pick the Hong Hong region! Beautiful ping. Absolutely stunning. Revolutionary. I can hear my house from here. Pro Tip 2™: Your own ping isn’t the whole story. If you’re still having issues, your friend’s pings may be way higher than yours. Work together to find some common ground and keep everyone’s ping as low and balanced as possible.
